TomTom releases two new Simpson's sat nav voices

Motorists can now be given a hand by two more of their favourite characters from The Simpsons, after TomTom released voice packs for Mr Burns and Marge.

The pair join the previously available Homer Simpson add-on, which has become the most downloaded character of all time.

Developed in partnership with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products, Locutio Voice Technologies and Gracie Films Worldwide Brand Division, the new voices will help drivers navigate their way around the UK.

Jeffrey Godsick, president of Fox Consumer Products, said: "We want to keep the offerings on the TomTom app fresh and exciting by introducing new voices at different times. We know that fans of the show are going to appreciate these new additions as it gives them yet another platform to enjoy one of the greatest shows of all time."

As motorists would expect, Mr Burns is forthright and as bold as he is in the popular cartoon, while Marge often takes to Homer-baiting while directing drivers back home.

The packs can be purchased as in-App downloads for the iPhone or iPad, while they are also available for personal TomTom devices.
